MIX VEGETABLE & BARLEY SOUP | BY RUMEEN BUBERE
We cannot stop someone's talent if someone really show up . There are no boundaries for talent if someone really has. This time I am featuring a very talented Home Chef from India who really worked hard to achieve what she is today .
Featuring Rumeen Bubere , she hails from Mumbai , India and she is a proud home chef. She won several awards in the food groups like Sweetzaika food group which is a popular food group in India. She mentioned that her cooking journey commenced 7 years ago. Initially, she didn’t show much interest in cooking. She just used to cook simple and traditional food. But, when she started sharing simple recipes on her friends What's app food group, everyone appreciated and loved them. She felt really happy when her friends told her that everyone in their families liked and enjoyed the recipes which she shared with them. All of them forced her to start a YouTube channel. Further she adds - After sharing recipes on my YouTube channel - Rumeen’s Recipes, I received positive feedback from many subscribers which boosted my confidence. The place where I’m standing today is because of my parents’ prayers, the support and love of my friends and my family. I’m really grateful to all of them for their valuable support.
My food philosophy is that
"Food should be simple and healthy. I personally believe that you don’t have to bring any changes in the traditional recipes, rather you should plate your dish artfully which will create a powerful impact on the consumer".
Whenever you prepare a new recipe, you should be aware of the benefits of the ingredients that will be used in it. While innovating any recipe, I focus not only on making it tasty but also healthy. I always attempt to present my simple dish in a way which will catch the viewer’s attention and they can enjoy .
Mix veg mushroom & barley soup.....
Mushroom 🍄sliced - 100 gm
Barley - 1/2 cup (soak in water for about 3-4 hours)
Extra virgin Olive oil - 2 tsp
Vegetables stock - 200 ml
Thick coconut milk - 200 ml
Crush garlic cloves - 2-3
Chopp garlic - 1/2 tsp for topping
Lemon grass - 1-2( chopped )
Carrot - 1/2 cup finally chopped
Cauliflower florets - 1/2 cup
Capsicum finally chopped - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Black pepper crushed - 1 tsp
Green chili - 1 cut into 2 pieces (take 1more if you like spicy soup)
Pink salt - 1/3 tsp.
1 Sauté all vegetables in 1 tsp olive oil ,add crush garlic cloves and ginger garlic paste and sauté for couple of seconds then add soaked barley n lemon grass, vegetable stock cover n cook on very low flame till barley cook completely .
2.Add chopped mushroom, coconut milk stir well, add black pepper powder mix it well cook for a further 5 minutes on very low flame.
3.Remove out lemon grass from soup .
4.Heat a pan pour 1 tsp olive oil some chopped mushroom n 1/2 tsp chopped garlic stir for few seconds.
5.Remove hot soup in a serving bowl put stir fry mushroom n garlic on top of the soup drizzle remaining olive oil n serve hot.
